Cam Locks Built Around Your Security Needs.
From standard commercial locking to patented high-security designs and user-changeable key codes, Cobra provides cam lock options for a wide range of equipment, cabinets, enclosures and specialized applications.
Choose the Right Cam Lock
Cobra offers multiple cam-lock systems so security level, key control, compatibility and changeability can be matched to the application.
Cobra C3
A high-security cam lock designed around stronger key control, resistance to picking and anti-drill protection.
Cobra C7
A patented cam-lock design with a distinctive seven-sided lock front and matching key.
CobraMatic 7
Combines Cobra C7 security features with the ability for the end user to change the lock through eight different key codes.
Cobra Tubular
A tubular cam-lock platform designed for compatibility with common tubular locking systems while adding Cobra security features.
CobraMatic Tubular
A tubular changeable cam lock offering eight user-selectable codes and compatibility with standard GS-series tubular lock systems.
Cobra SB
A single-bitted utility cam lock based on the standard 54G keyway for commercial applications requiring straightforward mechanical locking.
C3 or C7?
Cobra offers two distinct high-security cam-lock systems for applications where stronger key control and physical protection are priorities.
Cobra C3
Choose C3 when stronger key control, large code availability and additional physical-security features are priorities.
Cobra C7
Choose C7 when you need an enhanced mechanical lock with a restricted seven-sided design and physical attack-resistance features.
Change the Code Without Replacing the Lock
CobraMatic adds operational flexibility to the mechanical cam lock. The end user can change the lock from its current code to another available code using the change-key process.
Once the lock is changed, the previous operating key no longer operates the lock and the key assigned to the new code becomes active.
Options Built Around Compatibility
Not every application requires moving to an entirely new key system. Cobra offers cam-lock options designed around common tubular and single-bitted formats.
Cobra Tubular
Cobra Tubular cam locks are designed to support applications using traditional tubular lock systems, allowing organizations to preserve compatible existing locking investments.
Cobra SB
Cobra SB uses the standard 54G single-bitted keyway, providing an option for applications built around this common commercial lock format.
Choose the Size That Fits the Application
Cobra cam-lock families are available in multiple cylinder lengths to support different door, panel and equipment thicknesses.
3 Sizes
5/8", 7/8" and 1-1/8".
4 Sizes
3/8", 5/8", 7/8" and 1-1/8".
3 Sizes
5/8", 7/8" and 1-1/8".
5 Sizes
3/8", 5/8", 7/8", 1-1/8" and 1-3/8".
Four Things to Consider
The right cam lock depends on more than cylinder length. Consider how the lock will be used and how access needs to be controlled.
Security Level
Determine whether the application requires standard locking, enhanced mechanical security or advanced key control.
Key Control
Consider how keys will be issued, duplicated and managed throughout the life of the lock.
Cylinder Length
Match the lock body to the thickness of the door, cabinet, enclosure or equipment panel.
Future Changes
If access codes may need to change over time, a CobraMatic configuration may provide additional operational flexibility.
Need the Right Locking Cam Too?
Cobra also supplies straight and offset locking cams in multiple lengths and offsets, including custom configurations designed around the locking application.
